This is a national charity providing support for male victims of domestic abuse and sexual violence.

​Rape Crisis 
This is a national charity that aims to support all victims of sexual violence.

Survivors' Network 
This is a local rape crisis service for female survivors of sexual violence and abuse in Brighton and Hove.


Addictions
Breakeven
This is a provider of  free specialist counselling for anyone affected by problem gambling.

CRI 
This is a social care and health charity working with individuals, families and communities affected by drugs, alcohol, crime, homelessness, domestic abuse and antisocial behaviour.

FRANK 
This is an anti-drug campaign aimed primarily at young adults. It provides services for people who seek information and/or advice about drugs.

This service supports those affected by bereavement.

This is a service offering support for grieving children.

This is an international bullying prevention charity working and campaigning to keep young people safe from bullying.

Bullying UK 
This provides useful information to children, parents, teachers, adults and youth organisations about all types of bullying.

Allsorts Youth Project 
This is a project based in Brighton to support and empower LGBTU young people.

ChildLine 
This is a counselling service for children and young people.

NSPCC 
This protects children across the UK by providing a wide range of services for both children and parents.

PAPYRUS 
This is a confidential Young Suicide Prevention Advice service.

RU-OK? 
This is a young people’s substance misuse service for Brighton & Hove.

Self Harm 
This service offers support for young people impacted by self-harm.

TESS 
This is a service  for girls and young women up to 25 who self-injure.

As You Are Centre 
This is a charity that offers low-cost counselling and group work for people living in Brighton, Hove, Portslade, Southwick, Shoreham, Lancing and Worthing.

Counselling Directory 
This lists counsellors and psychotherapists registered with a recognised professional body.

This service offers couple counselling, workshops and information.
 

Crises Services
Samaritans offer emotional support to anyone in emotional distress, struggling to cope, or at risk of suicide. This service is available 24/7 on 08457 90 90 90.

Sussex Mental Healthline can be reached everyday of the week 0300 5000 101. On weekends and bank holidays it is accessible 24/7 and Mon- Fri 5pm – 9pm.

This is a National Charity supporting LGBT victims of violence and abuse.

RISE 
This is a local charity which supports women, children, young people and families affected by domestic abuse.  

Women's Aid 
This is a national charity working to end domestic violence against women and children.

This is the leading UK charity for people with eating disorders and their families.

MGEDT  
‘Men Get Eating Disorders Too’ is an award winning national charity dedicated to representing and supporting the needs of men with eating disorders.
 

LGBTQ Resources
Allsorts Youth Project 
This is a project based in Brighton to support and empower young people under 26 who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans or unsure (LGBTU) of their sexual orientation and/or gender identity.

Brighton & Hove LGBT Switchboard 
This helpline is a supportive, non-judgemental and confidential space for LGBT people as well as for their family, friends and supporters.

Broken Rainbow 
This is a National Charity supporting LGBT victims of domestic violence and abuse.

FTM Brighton
This is a group for transgender men, gender queer people and those questioning their gender identity.

MindOut 
This is a mental health service run by and for lesbians, gay men, bisexual and transgender people. Based in Brighton and Hove, they provide local services as well as a number of national initiatives.

Terrence Higgins Trust 
This is the largest voluntary sector provider of HIV and sexual health services in the UK, running services out of local centres across Great Britain.

Anxiety UK 
This service works to relieve and support those living with anxiety disorders.

Mind 
This service provides high-quality information and advice on depression, bereavement, anxiety and medication.

No Panic
This service provides support for sufferers of panic attacks, phobias, obsessive compulsive disorder, general anxiety disorder and withdrawal.

Rethink 
This service works to help everyone affected by severe mental illness recover a better quality of life.

SANE 
This is a leading UK mental health charity that works to improve quality of life for anyone affected by mental illness. 


Self Harm
National Self Harm Network 
This service supports individuals who self harm to reduce emotional distress and improve their quality of life. It also provides information for family and carers of individuals who self harm.

This service offers support for young people impacted by self-harm.

TESS 
This service is for girls and young women up to 25 who self-injure.



Women
Brighton Oasis Project 
This service aims to improve the lives and maximise the potential of the diverse range of women, children and young people affected by substance misuse.

Brighton Women's Centre 
This service aims to empower women in the Brighton and Hove area and promote independence in a safe, women-only space. Services include counselling, group work, open access drop-ins, holistic therapies, volunteer training and self-development courses.
